Risas Dental: Labor of Love

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Risas Dental continued their tradition of providing free dental each Labor Day in their 27 offices.

MULTI-MARKET EVENT

Since 2011, every Labor Day, Risas Dental has opened all 27 of its offices to provide free dental care to the community. Each year, this event features a distinctive logo and campaign creative applied to all web, print, and digital assets. In addition to the logo creation, I wrote and developed campaign guidelines for both internal and external teams who assist in creating assets for the campaign.

In 2020, Risas Dental continued this tradition by offering services by appointment only to ensure safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

My goal was to evolve the 2020 logo beyond the teeth and heart visuals used in previous years. With the ongoing pandemic, it was essential for Risas to enhance its support for the community. The new logo, with its fluid lines, evokes a sense of connection and togetherness.

Since hosting large events was against CDC guidelines, Risas restructured the Labor of Love operation. Instead of a first-come, first-served model, Labor of Love 2020 was conducted by appointment only.

All communication about the event was digital to eliminate print materials and personal outreach.
